Data Deletion Instructions

How to request deletion of your HoldPoint account and personal data, including data collected via Google or Facebook sign-in.

HoldPoint respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal information. These instructions also apply if you signed in using Google OAuth or Facebook Login and wish to remove data HoldPoint collected through those sign-ins. Revoking Google or Facebook App Access

Important: Revoking third-party access ≠ deleting your HoldPoint data

Revoking HoldPoint's access on Google or Facebook only disconnects the sign-in link. It does not delete the data HoldPoint has already collected. You must still submit a deletion request using one of the methods above.

What Data Gets Deleted

Upon a confirmed deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed or anonymized:

Permanently Deleted
  • Name, email address, and profile picture
  • Date of birth and contact details
  • Account credentials and third-party sign-in identifiers
  • Profile settings and preferences
  • Submitted reports, reviews, and feedback
  • Payment method references
Retained (Legal Obligation)
  • Transaction records (anonymized) required for financial compliance
  • Dispute and report records under active review
  • Data required by applicable Philippine law or regulatory authority
  • Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data
Processing timeline: Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification. You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been removed. During the processing period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible.
This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, all data — including your transaction history, reviews, and profile — cannot be recovered. Active transactions should be resolved before submitting a deletion request.
